Happy May Everyone!

The preschoolers and staff at CCP are sure glad that spring is finally in the air! We have a fun last month of preschool in store and the kids couldn't be more excited for their upcoming summer! May comes to us with two new fun and exciting units: Explore Duluth & Transportation. For our Explore Duluth unit, we're going to do what we do best: play in our neighborhoods and totally immerse ourselves into this wonderful community. As a start, the kids made and delivered May Day baskets to the neighbors....in the lovely snow/rain mix that we had going on. Only in Duluth, right?! Check it out:









And then as part of our Transportation unit, we have set up some pretty fun play areas at school:






 This past Thursday, we Explored Duluth by taking the preschoolers down to the DECC to support the Lions Club Pancake Day! Talk about a fun day!

Greetings Families! We've had a fun and busy past couple of months. We've been learning, playing, celebrating, and working. Earth Day Photos

Greetings Everyone! The preschoolers had a wonderful time celebrating Earth Day all last week. We learned all about our environment and took a closer look at some of our planet's environmental issues. Then the children went a step further by putting their knowledge to work by coming up with solutions to help solve these issues. Some solutions the children came up with were to to use less garbage at lunch time, plant seeds, reuse & recycle, and clean up litter in our own neighborhoods. It was wonderful to see the children's love for their planet come out with such enthusiasm! The children were so excited about the fact that we were able to cut our lunch-time garbage down by 90%! Creative Me Unit Pictures

Hello Preschool Families! Another month has come and gone and our Creative Me unit was a total success! Preschoolers are such natural little artists that it's no surprise that this theme was a favorite among our group. We explored many different types of art in so many creative, fun ways, I think we've inspired some young kids to be aspiring artists! As usual we captured some fun moments along the way.
