CCP Firefighter Day


Greetings Families!!

Our Community Helpers unit at preschool is in full swing, and the children are loving every second of it! Last Wednesday, we had the fun opportunity to have firefighters come visit the preschoolers to talk about fire safety! In fact, one of the firefighters was a familiar face to some of the preschoolers: "Uncle Norm", or Firefighter Chris (Chris Orman!!)You can imagine the excitement that was buzzing around the school. The children got to talk about the risks of burns from fire as well as learn some fire safety skills, not to mention they got a full tour of the fire engine! It was a happy day!! And the last snip-it I'll leave you with is a fun video of Mrs. Elicia...only because I know how much she'll appreciate being on the internet. Not only was it firefighter day, it was also Mrs. Elicia's birthday! And she got to try on the fire suit! (Dream do come true here at preschool!!)

    CCP Firefighter Day!! That sounds just great. These trip photos look amazing. At some popular Phoenix preschool I am also going to enroll my son. It makes me feel so happy that he’ll also have such great moments with his classmates and learn new things everyday!

Earth Day Photos

Greetings Everyone! The preschoolers had a wonderful time celebrating Earth Day all last week. We learned all about our environment and took a closer look at some of our planet's environmental issues. Then the children went a step further by putting their knowledge to work by coming up with solutions to help solve these issues. Some solutions the children came up with were to to use less garbage at lunch time, plant seeds, reuse & recycle, and clean up litter in our own neighborhoods. It was wonderful to see the children's love for their planet come out with such enthusiasm! The children were so excited about the fact that we were able to cut our lunch-time garbage down by 90%! Creative Me Unit Pictures

Hello Preschool Families! Another month has come and gone and our Creative Me unit was a total success! Preschoolers are such natural little artists that it's no surprise that this theme was a favorite among our group. We explored many different types of art in so many creative, fun ways, I think we've inspired some young kids to be aspiring artists! As usual we captured some fun moments along the way.
