A Look at September

Greetings Families! We officially made it through our first month of preschool! Our All About Me and Five Senses units were a total blast! The children had fun comparing themselves to when they were babies, and then putting all of their "big kid" skills to work! We also had the best time for the Grandparent Tea Party. It was so fun to meet all the parent's parents and see all the beautiful relationships amongst them and the children. We sang, danced, played, created, and had tea and treats! Here are some fun shots we captured throughout the month, enjoy! Free Play Fun: Not a baby any more! Look how much bigger we've gotten: Partying with the Grandparents: We did so many fun activities for the Five Senses unit; one of them being experiencing POPCORN in lots of fun ways! Eat it, smell it, hear it, feel it, see it, and PLAY with it!: Can you color with out using your sense of sight? And as always, we got out and enjoyed our neighborhood: Stay tuned for more fun photos as

Hello Preschool Families! Nice job on your first official week of school! All the preschoolers did wonderful! There were hardly any tears, in fact this bunch of kids might have been the most excited to start school we've seen yet! Everyone was happy, excited, and bounding with enthusiasm to be starting a new year of preschool. Parents did an awesome job too with the morning routine. Everyone had inside shoes for their child to change into, and lockers were stocked perfectly. Don't forget that in the morning, after your child signs in their name, they put their name tag in the color bucket of whichever group they are in; this is a way for teachers to know who is here for the day, and also we use them for learning activities during our small group time! Lunchtime has also been running pretty smoothly. Don't forget, every lunch needs to include protein, fruits, veggies, and a whole grain, and keep in mind portion sizes! Lunches do not have to be super large. The children have
